So.....it's been a year - or two - or three. Thanks Facebook. I guess blogging gets put on the back burner when you have to publish your life for 200+ of your best friends to see. Haha! I was doing really well with this blog, documenting all the major milestones, etc. This blog could possibly have been a faux baby book (since I haven't been doing well with keeping those up either). But now with this HUGE gap in there, I've missed a lot. First day of Kindergarten, lost teeth, boyfriends, sports, holidays, new nephews, vacations, too much to list.
I think I'm going to try to go back and capture some of what I missed. Guess I'll need a rainy day with plenty of time to do that. In the meantime, I can try to just keep this more current. Here are a few photos that I'm sure you've already seen on Facebook anyway. :-)

Christmas Time 2010
Sitting in front of the fire enjoying a cup of hot cocoa.
Look at this sophisticated face. :-) Or is she a deer in headlights?
Our mantle, complete with Speedy in his hiding place for this partcular day (find him in the wreath).
Our lovely tree....
Girls all bundled up. For what, who knows? Guess we were heading outside.
Thanks Great Aunt Julie and Great Uncle Keith for these rockin' Barbie guitars. They got to open these before Christmas and loved them! Kaitlyn is rocking out in her Rosette fairy outfit.
Not the best photo of Kaitlyn, but she's having fun goofing around in her cowgirl hat and pink boots.
Here we have Nicole sporting the same pink boots but with a fleece jacket, complete with hood, over top of her fairy outfit. And don't forget the lion mittens. Cute!
Born to rock...
Our house all lit up at night. Love the holidays. So pretty!!!

Who Knows Where I Left Off?
It's been SOOOO LONG...I've been busy on facebook instead. Whoops! Anyway, I wanted to put a few photos up, so here goes. Thanksgiving and Christmas from 2010. Yes, I'd say I'm behind in my updates. And as I look back, I already posted some of these daycare Thanksgiving photos. Can't imagine that I actually posted anything remotely real time, but maybe I did. I'm posting them again since I already uploaded them. :-)
Mommy came to daycare for Thanksgiving lunch where the girls were dressed in their hand made Native American outfits.
And now on to Christmas:
We went to Mt. Bethel for our Santa photos this year. It's SO awesome! They actually give you a number so that you don't wait forever. And while you do have to "wait" for your block of 10 numbers to be called, they give you tables to sit at and arts and crafts activities to entertain!!!! Totally awesome. So, the longest you wait in a LINE is for your block of 10. Loved this. Great experience and we will do it again this year. And we got 2-3 Christmas ornaments per kid to add to our tree. :-) Home made ornaments are the BEST!!!
And there he is...the Santa that worked magic. Prior to meeting Santa, Kaitlyn was still having potty training issues with #2. Is that over sharing? I don't think so...after all, you did come to my blog to read and it is about my girls. Santa politely told Kaitlyn that the elves were watching her and reporting back and that he would really love to see her fully potty trained. And of course she knew it must be true. How else did Santa even know she was having potty training issues? The elves of course. (Our elf, Speedy, in particular.) I think after this Santa visit, we maybe had 1 accident ever. It was that simple. Ah, the power of Santa!!!
Not the best photo below. Why did I include it? Hmmmmm...
Then, continuing on with the Christmas festivities, we went to the East Cobb Park for the big Christmas tree lighting. And then Santa comes and you can take more photos with him. The only problem...the weather stunk. It was actually raining, but we waited under umbrellas and got our photo. We went with Blake and Mackenzie too. As you can see, Blake wasn't really "in" to taking any more photos. :-)

So, I suppose my next post should be Christmas morning. Let's see if I can manage to keep that all in order. And then, I'll at least finally be updating going forward in the correct year, 2011. Ha!

Charleston Continued
As I mentioned, after Hilton Head, we headed north a few hours and went to see my Aunt and Uncle who just moved to Mt. Pleasant about 6 months ago. They offered to let us stay, so we took them up on it. The house was beautiful, and the neighborhood was gorgeous. Here are some photos of the girls in their kitchen after we got home from their awesome neighborhood pool. This pool had a legitamate water slide...like 30 feet high with several twists and turns. FABULOUS!!!! Photos of that to come later if I ever get them off my iphone.

Hilton Head Photos - Vacation Isn't Over Yet!
Got even more Hilton Head photos to share. Yes, I take a LOT of pictures, and this doesn't even count the many that I took on my phone and uploaded to facebook. :-)
So, I the grand idea that I would take some "beach" photos of the girls while we were there, so I packed these gorgeous white dresses that still had the tags on them. (Time was running out to wear a white dress, don't you think?) I just LOVE these photos. And as I said in the previous post, I gave a few of them to my neighbor to work her fancy editing magic. These are the originals that I took though.
And here, I edited this one myself. Not too bad.
And after HH, my aunt and uncle had just moved to Charleston about 6 months ago. We had never been to Charleston and since the proximity to HH was too close to pass up, we ventured north for an extra day of vacation. Since it was 4th of July weekend, my aunt had bought some patriotic cupcakes that the girls definitely enjoyed.
And here's our family "portrait" in the back yard before we left. Fun one!!!
