This blog was established for our friends and family to have the opportunity to see and hear about my twins' lives.
I don't really need or want people to comment in Spanish or Japanese. I can't read those languages and that is not what this blog is about. And I definitely don't need someone posting a comment about viagra on my sweet blog about my 2 1/2 year old twins. If you're blogspotting for networking or to sell something, please refrain from commenting. I don't want to hear it.
Now, if you've found my blog from somewhere else and are truly interested and think my girls are cute (who wouldn't), feel free to let me know. Sweet comments are always welcome.
But the overall purpose of this blog is not, never has been, and never will be to network. It's a journal of my kids' lives. I don't know why after 3 years I'm finally getting these random comments, but that's not what this is about. Someone has obviously linked my blog from somewhere else. If you have stumbled upon my blog, can you let me know from where so I can ask that blogger to take my link down?
Thanks.

When you post something on the internet for the world to see you must be prepared for the world to see it. If you want your life to be private then don't advertise your children to the world, make your blog private and set a password for family and friends. It goes against the grain of common sense to post who you are (full names) and where you live (city, state) along with adorable pictures to the world. Especially with an uncommon last name and odd spelling of your first name. I used to blog all the time and there are crazy people out there, which was the reason I stopped. Discretion is advised.
I think what Alyson is referring to are those people posting random comments (some in foreign languages) that are not related to the blog or her posts in any way. Feel free to comment as you like, but just keep it in the context of the blog.
It is her blog after all and she should be able to speak out on who/what she wants posted there.
Go to your blog dashboard and choose settings. Then select "no" to "Add your blog to our listings" and "no" to "Let search engines find your blog". That should help cut down on strange postings from people you don't know. And, it really is a good idea not to post information that identifies you personally. Good luck!
Also, if you click COMMENTS on your dashboard, you can choose to moderate your comments. If you do that, Blogger sends you an email containing the comment for you to review before it's posted. That way you can just delete comments you don't want to see on your blog.
Thanks everyone. Second anonymous has got it! I welcome the posts that have something to do with my kids.
And fourth anonymous, thanks...I figured that already and moderated your comment in fact. You made it through. Yippie! :-)
Thanks to all of you for your thoughts and I will put these into action because I definitely don't want these random, rude, off topic and dirty comments.
One cute daughter would be enough but how did you get so lucky with two?! Amazing photos and amazing videos. :)
I found your blog clicking the "Next Blog" button. It's a Saturday afternoon, I'm bored. LOL! Your daughters are absolutely adorable. I am fascinated with twins. I have a 2 year old little girl myself.
